We are souls having a human experience. This experience is what makes us who we are and it’s part of our healing journey. As we live life on this ever increasingly wild and unpredictable planet, often it seems as if we hold our breath, close our eyes and brace for the next impact. However, there is a calm place within us. It resides in the pause between an inhale and exhale and this is the point at which healing begins. Practices like intentional breath, meditation, prayer, singing, dancing, yoga or receiving a nurturing Reiki treatment release our bodies and minds from the weight of stress and anxiety. Only when we are in this place of peace and tranquility can we begin the process of healing.
